As a recovering emotional eater and a yo-yo dieter, health is a very personal journey for me. For years, I unconsciously equated health as being thin. Then a life altering event led to a excruciating painful bout of shingles followed by extreme fatigue and sadness and made me explore and redefine being healthy. I have since been on a journey to align my physical, mental and spiritual health and hope to share what I discover and learn. I am also doing a year-long course in health coaching and will share practical tips and intimate thoughts on my blog.
In a nutshell, here is my recipe for good health: Take good nutrition and add some exercise, a lot of mindfulness, good quality sleep and a ton of hydration. Then add some ikigai to bind it all together. Prioritize your happiness and follow what pulls your heart, and you’ve got a perfect recipe for a good life! We talk about all this here. So get your favorite drink, put your feet up and dig in.
